OLED EyeCare LAMP

Lumlight is founded by a group of experts and researchers with more than fifteen-year experiences in OLED display and material fields. ThatIdea Design collaborated with Lumlight to develop the OLED EyeCare Lamp. This lamp is foldable and easy to carry around. By achieving the sleek look and a thickness of less than 10mm once folded, it is one of the thinnest OLED lamps ever. On top it can be adjusted freely to maximize the illumination area. Through patented replaceable module design, the lamp allows DIY replacement of OLED lighting panels. The OLED EyeCare Lamp was nominated for the 2017 Good Design Award in Japan.

VOLVO XC60 HEADREST

ThatIdea Design collaborated with Myron & Davis to develop a brand-new model of headrest monitor which is factory option to the VOLVO XC60 R-Design. A screen is fitted to the back of each headrest, each with an individual DVD player and equipped with an AUX input for MP3 connections. The mechanism and components were tested accordingly to the safety requirements of car industry to meet VOLVO’s expectations.

ALPINE Electronics is a leading manufacturer of audio products for automobiles, in 2007 ThatIdea Design aided E-BRIDGE Optoelectronics in the development of the TMX-R1100 series, making its appearance a sleek and superior look than former models and cope well the brand image of ALPINE. The flip down monitor TMX-R1100/1500 was awarded the grand prize "Car Accessory Award 2008" held by the publication Nikkan Jidosha Shimbun in Japan.

AdoSi Six Sword Lions

Founded in 1996, AnnShop is known for their unique customized silver bracelets. For expanding new customers, the new brand Adosi was established and the first story to tell is the four centuries old Sword Lions in Anping, Tainan. Through dedicated craftsmanship and ingeniously blended with trends, a new series of silver collection was made. The package design were carried out by ThatIdea along with Cbbic in correspondence with the new look at ancient stories.

Design by famous Japanese designer Hiroaki Watanabe, this 2009 Good Design Award winner can be extended or folded completely flat. On a quest for their latest type of car extinguisher, ThatIdea collaborated with DENG-AN Fire Engineering to develop a brand new car extinguisher that would sell in the competitive market. We apply the image of a falcon to the design and coped with the functionality featuring emergency window breaker, with a stylish look and optimum safety, the brand new extinguisher become a best-suited safety kit in the vehicle.

CHIA SOON Electronics (CSE) is a professional supplier of wiring harness and connectors and gains a high profile and status is Taiwan's industry, CSE also develops self-brand products in marketing during latest years. STOW’N TALK is a 2-in-1 communication device clipped onto a helmet enabling new, safe and more convenient communication especially for motorbikers. We collaborated with CSE to design the new generation product of the series. Inspired by the flapping of a bird’s wing, we apply the image to the product along with a handle bar remote controller, making more convenience to the new communication device.

CMICO is a professional supplier of banknote processing equipments in Taiwan, also build up its brand name worldwide and planned to cooperate with international well-known OEM/ODM organizations. MOBILE POWER PACK

The portable charger is a special project for UNION BANK OF TAIWAN. We collaborate with DISPLAY STAR, a professional manufacturer of portable chargers to complete the task from scratch. We apply an image of a super sports car to have smooth and sleek look, four tail lights located in the rear act as the status indicators of the power bank. All components are manufactured and assembled in Taiwan to ensure high quality of the product.

ALPINE PKG1000

As the first project we collaborated with our client, a supplier to ALPINE, we helped our client, VERTEX Precision Electronics, with the mechanical engineering of the project and received positive comments for the task. The PKG1000 is an early model of the rear entertainment system, the sales volume quite stood out among ALPINE products because of it’s simple and reliable mechanism.

CASHIDO OH8100

With strong R&D capabilities the "CASHIDO " brand began research on the scientifically based series of health products in 2003. The 10 Second Purifier OH8100 series project was carried out by ThatIdea under requirement of the new product by CASHIDO. We applied the image of three stacking annular shape that symbolizing the element of life, "sun, air, water", along with two quick release filters and smart operation LCD screen and buttons, the new series is perfect for drinking and washing procedures.
